Oudtshoorn is in such a unique position. Surrounded by mountains and with exquisite scenic drives it forms the beginning of the famous Route 62 from the Port Elizabeth side or the tail end of the route if you travel from Cape Town.

It is also the Ostrich centre of the world! Although not the only attraction, the ostrich is the worlds biggest bird and its feathers, leather products and meat are known to be world class.

Oudtshoorn is also the home of the world famous Cango Caves - a not to be missed visit.
